Let's face it: The Consumer Electronics Show has become predictable. Here's CNNMoney's list of gadgets we wish would be launched at this year's CES.
I keep my phone in my pocket at all times, yet I miss about 25% of the calls and texts that come in. The vibrate function is just too weak, and the ringer isn't loud enough -- particularly when I'm walking down noisy New York streets. My wife, who keeps her phone in her purse, probably misses 50% of her calls and texts (100% when I'm calling her, but that's another story).
Look, I don't need a phone to electro-shock me every time I get a message or call, but one notch below that would be nice. If a phone's vibrator can make it spin around upright on a table, can't it alert me a little more strongly so I don't miss so many calls? - DG
