There is a lot of speculation about what's next for Apple's iPhone and iOS software as well as chatter regarding a new iWatch and iTV.
Apple finally caught onto the big screen trend -- sort of -- when it expanded the iPhone 5's screen to 4 inches last fall.
But that still feels tiny when compared to the five-inch smartphone screens that have become extremely popular. Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 with a five-inch high-defnition screen earlier this month.
As 4G networks grow, and more users watch movies and television shows on their smartphones, some analysts increasingly believe Apple will get with the big-screen program.
"Apple prides itself on being an innovator and not a follower, but in this case Samsung beat them to the punch," said ITIC's DiDio.
But Apple has been fairly vocal in its opinion that the four-inch screen size is ideal for one-hand use.
"Management comments suggest that they tested various screen sizes and found the current size to be the largest usable with one hand," said Asymco's Dediu. "I can only assume that one hand use remains a design criteria for the iPhone."
