On a full charge, the Asterion will be able to drive roughly 31 miles on electricity alone. It can reach speeds of up to 78 miles per hour on battery power. With the gasoline engine running it could go as fast as 190 miles an hour.

It should also be able to get about 56 miles per gallon according to European fuel economy tests, Lamborghini says. That fuel economy would be achieved with normal driving, not while going zero-to-sixty in three seconds or cruising at 190 miles an hour, of course.

The front wheels are powered by two separate electric motors. The third electric motor resides between the V10 engine and the 7-speed transmission. So, in hybrid mode, the Asterion is an all-wheel-drive car. In electric-only mode, it is a front-wheel-drive car.
