World's Top Employers for New Grads

For an exclusive CNNMoney list, research firm Universum Global surveyed college students around the world to see where they most want to work.

Boston Consulting Group

  • Rank among business students: 13
  • Rank (engineering students): 36

Headquarters: Boston, MA
No. of employees: 9,700

What makes it great: This consulting firm works with impressive global clients, and new employees are expected to have strong voices from the start. "Ideas trump tenure here," says Lucy Brady, North American recruiting partner. Employees who perform well can be sponsored to go to business school later on, as long as they commit to two more years with BCG after graduation.

What they're looking for: BCG is hiring its largest class of interns and new grads ever this year. It's smart to take an internship with the firm early on -- more than 90% get hired into full-time positions. Recruiters look for candidates with a track record of leadership as well as a healthy dose of humility, Brady says.
