Fiscal cliff, be damned. Sure, they hate the uncertainty in Washington, but some of America's top entrepreneurs say now is a great time to hire new talent.
"I'm not hiring, and my company isn't likely to due to the nature of what we do. We have outsourced parts of several projects recently to freelancers, so that's almost the next best thing. But I just moderated an event in Los Angeles and nearly all the entrepreneurs who attended were ready to hire.
"The problem? They couldn't find trained workers to do the jobs they needed. Obviously, we need to do something about this longer-term problem -- create training programs, both in the public and private sectors."
