Mark Pincus' reign as Zynga CEO
Zynga isn't shutting down, but it's entering a new era after founder Mark Pincus stepped down as CEO on July 1. Pincus' retreat from the Zynga (ZNGA) helm comes after a year full of layoffs, underperforming social games and the ill-fated acquisition of "Draw Something" maker OMGPOP. Former Microsoft Xbox head Don Mattrick will take over Zynga -- and all of its challenges.
