Nicolae Popescu: $1 million reward
1 of 10
This 34-year-old Romanian is accused of duping Americans with fake auction posts on several websites, including Cars.com and AutoTrader.com.
Popescu's targets thought they were bidding on real cars. But they never got the cars they purchased -- or saw their money again. Popescu and his associates made off with $3 million, according to the FBI.
Police tracked down and arrested six members of Popescu's group in late 2012, but Popescu and a partner slipped away. He was indicted for wire fraud, money laundering, passport fraud and trafficking counterfeit service marks.
