Taking a drive up the coast
Lombard and Gable married in 1939. A year later, the couple drove the Duesenberg up the coast to Vancouver, BC. Gable left the car in a garage so the couple could take a train back to L.A. They planned to visit the following year and take the car home. They never came back for it.
