Raw power
Under those slats lies a 5.2 liter, 525 horsepower, V10 engine producing 391 lb-ft of torque and a lovely low gurgling sound at idle. Push the gas pedal and that gurgle turns into a roar.
The sound is so raw that I was invited to join a motorcycle gang -- for just a few seconds. They wanted me to accompany them in a symphony of throttle-induced roars as we waited for a red light on 12th avenue in Manhattan.
