This Ferrari, along with nine other top-selling cars at the 2013 Scottsdale collector car auctions, together raked in about $39 million.
The sticker price on this car, when movie star Clark Gable bought it new, was $7,295. Gable added a few touches to suit his personal tastes, including Rudge racing wheels and a wood and chrome Nardi steering wheel. It also has a set of fitted luggage.

Recently, bidding went all the way to $6.4 million on another Gable-owned car, a 1935 Duesenberg. The car went unsold in that case because even that amount of money wasn't enough to satisfy the owner.
