The Elantra GT is basically the European version of the Elantra that's repackaged for sale in the U.S. and sold as a more enjoyable alternative to the regular Elantra. I wasn't convinced on that score -- it doesn't seem appreciably more fun than its "American" cousin, which I like quite a lot -- but its hatcback body shape does make for more hauling space.
