While some might question the Cherokee's exterior design, the interior is without a doubt, nice to look at. It's also nice to touch and use with rich feeling materials that are well assembled. To be honest, interior quality hasn't been an issue for Chrysler Group vehicles for some time now and this is just one more example of that particularly remarkable turnaround.
Prices for the Cherokee start at about $23,000 for one with a four-cylinder engine and front wheel drive that gets about 25 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving, according to the EPA. (That's 31 mpg highway.) The off-road Trail Hawk model starts at about $30,000 but it looks much cooler.
Taken as a total package, inside and out, on road and off, the Cherokee makes an impressive statement. If I were shopping for a small SUV right now, I'd have to start here.
