This latest performance version of Subaru's Impreza compact car has totally different body panels from the windows on down. It also has a new turbocharged engine producing 268 horsepower and a new torque vectoring all-wheel-drive system that brakes the inside wheels and sends power to the outside ones during hard turns. It will be available with a sport-tuned continuously variable transmission but, this time, there will be no hatchback version.
