The B-class electric has paddles on the steering wheel that allow the driver to adjust the level of engine regeneration. With regeneration turned up, it drives more like the i3, slowing down promptly as you lift off the gas. In "Sport" mode, regeneration is turned all the way off so the car coasts like any other, and accelerator response is quicker.
In its normal mode the B-Class drives like a small Mercedes. It rides smoothly and turns smartly with a reasonable amount of steering feel for a plug-in car. There's also a decent amount of power from its 174 horsepower electric motor. It'll hardly give you whiplash taking off from a stop but it's more than quick enough to keep you in the mix.
