The XE fills the need for an entry-level model in Jaguar's line-up. It would compete against cars like the BMW 3-series and the Mercedes-Benz C-class. The XE will have a body made entirely from aluminum and will be powered by a 340-horsepower supercharged V6. It will go on sale in Europe next year and in the U.S. in 2016.
