When it comes to cars, two-doors almost always look better than four. Designers can have much more fun when they don't have to worry about rear seat access. For instance, the recently redesigned Honda(HMC) Civic is a nice-looking car. But the Honda Civic Coupe? Now, that's really something.
With its tapered back and the wrap-around taillight that does double duty as a spoiler, it looks sporty and aggressive but in a fun, playful way. Even the wheels look bigger than they are. The looks are a good match for the car's slightly sporty personality.
