What makes it great: Nestlé makes a lot more than chocolate: It's the largest food company in the world. The company highly values its customers' and employees' health and happiness, says Kathryn Rowan, head of talent and organization development. That may be part of the reason why the company has a 90% retention rate. "We invest in the long-term and make sure personal development is in the equation," Rowan says.

What they're looking for: Nestlé places a huge emphasis on its internship program. New grads can apply for openings in anything from research and development to human resources. To get hired, candidates must be highly motivated and share the company's vision of having a real connection with customers, Rowan says.
