"We the people -- well, most of us, anyway -- are smarter than you think we are.

"I hope when this election is over, the gratuitous shoutouts to small business will also be a thing of the past, and we can get down to business -- real business. As a small-business owner, my largest monthly bill is to health insurance companies. And every year, I pay more, and get less. I want health coverage I can afford.

"I want a president who acts like an entrepreneur. One who isn't beholden to his 'bosses' but speaks out and acts on the issues that matter because he or she is not afraid to offend anyone.

"Entrepreneurs are more than just business owners. We're citizens of this nation, and residents of this planet."
