It's a familiar story for family-run, independent theme parks that get crowded out by large, corporate-run chains. According to IBIS World, 85% of the $16 billion amusement park industry is dominated by the five biggest companies like Six Flags(SIX) and Walt Disney(DIS), which alone accounts for more than 50%.
