Apple's iTunes Music Store is turning 10 next week, but the music software is even older. Here's how it changed over time.
Apple went visual with the launch of iTunes 6, offering 2,000 music videos for $1.99 each (which now sounds incredibly steep). The library also included six short films from Pixar and episodes of shows from Disney-owned (DIS) properties, including ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost."
"We're doing for video what we've done for music," Steve Jobs said at the time.
