SkyDrive File Browser
Why we like it: If you're using Windows 8 on a tablet, trying to use Explorer with your finger only results in sadness and more sadness. But tucked away in the updated SkyDrive app in Windows 8.1 is the far more finger-friendly option to browse your locally stored files, complete with the option to cut, copy, or open the file in another app.
How to use it: When you open the SkyDrive app, tap the text at the top that says "SkyDrive" and select "This PC" from the drop down menu. To bring up contextual options for any file, give the file a quick swipe downwards with your finger.
