The Xbox One's Smartglass app lets you control the Xbox with your tablet and receive supplementary data about movies, TV shows and games. It's functional if not quite spectacular. The same is true for Microsoft's OneGuide TV interface.
The PS4's ability to stream games to a network-connected PS Vita is considerably more polished and useful than anything the Xbox has to offer. The best feature: The PS4 lets you continue your gaming session anywhere in the house.
