The software on the Droid Turbo is nearly identical to the Moto X. They both run out-of-the-box Android as Google intended, with a very small handful of added features. They are actually some of the best features on any smartphone: hands free voice commands, gestures to turn on the camera, check time, and "active" notifications that let you preview messages without unlocking your phone.
The Verizon-exclusive Droid Turbo is loaded with slightly more bloatware than the Moto X (which also comes with its fair share). You can disable those apps, but that's kind of a drag.
