The Droid Turbo isn't going to win any beauty contests. It kind of looks like a fat, homely cousin of Moto X. Its rubber casing and nylon backing provide a nice grip, but they're not exactly the best building materials. And its hefty weight, jagged edges, long chin and physical menu buttons feel outdated by a couple years.
The Moto X, on the other hand, is among the best-designed Android smartphones ever. Its slightly curved back fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, and its aluminum casing and smooth-edged glass add a touch of precision usually reserved for Apple devices. The design-your-own Moto X feature online is a killer feature.
