Today's laptops almost universally use flat keys that are narrower than the keyboard on a traditional desktop computer. But IBM (IBM) didn't want to compromise.

When opened, the ThinkPad 760's keyboard lifted up slightly in the back, supported by two tiny rails on each side of the screen.
