Fast forward 112 years after Ford's first moving assembly line launched, and this is what car manufacturing looks like in Detroit today.

Giant robotic arms are used to assemble the new F-150 at the Dearborn Truck Plant, its body made from lightweight aluminum, rather than steel.

There are now 16 Fords built every 60 seconds around the world.

And not a horse-drawn carriage in sight.
