Here are the new travel apps and services that will make trips easier, less time-consuming, and more fun for the every day business traveler.
If you're a frequent flier, you're likely to think hauling a suitcase is one of the worst parts of traveling. Not to mention coming home with said suitcase full of dirty clothes to clean.
"Why am I folding and lugging this stuff around the world?" That question was the impetus for Bill Rinehart's new startup, DUFL. The Tempe, Arizona-based firm does everything from packing to shipping to cleaning to storing your suitcase and all the items therein.
DUFL is a subscription-based service -- $10 per month -- plus $99 per trip.
The firm, which has raised $5.5 million in funding, has a comprehensive inventory management system. They take photographs of every item that comes in and out of their warehouse located in Arizona.
DUFL works with FedEx to ship suitcases to and from destinations within the U.S. (the standard is three-day delivery.) Rinehart said he plans to open a second warehouse in Newark to accommodate demand.
