Iwata's Nintendo claimed another major victory with this one.
There's a reason it sold 52 million of these. The 3DS came with a bit of magic. It let you see three-dimensional images without wearing any special glasses. It also came with a camera that took 3D photos.
But cracks in Nintendo's business model started showing. The 3DS had a camera, Internet, games. In just a few years, it would be seen as an expensive smartphone that couldn't make phone calls.
