Wii U (2012)
7 of 8
The last thing Nintendo launched under Iwata was a dud.
The Wii U is limited to kids -- and it shows. The Nintendo Network didn't let you socialize. The Netflix streaming app was terrible. The operating system was slow. The tablet battery was miserable. Plus, it couldn't even play DVDs or Blu-rays.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 did all these things better.
As a result, only 9.5 million Wii U consoles have sold.
