You probably don't want to spend more time with your child's soiled diapers than you absolutely have to. Fortunately, Pixie Scientific is willing to do the dirty work for you.

The New York start-up makes disposable "smart diapers" that analyze urine for signs of dehydration, urinary tract infections and even undiagnosed diabetes. Parents gather all this data by simply scanning the QR codes on the front of the diapers with their smartphones.

The company is still working with the FDA to gain approval, so for now, you'll have to do your diaper data analysis on your own.
