Future collectible cars unveiled at Pebble Beach

Not all the cars at the annual gathering are decades old. Automakers are also out to attract new customers.

This is Porsche's high-performance plug-in hybrid. It's expected to go on sale soon at prices starting around $845,000. The 918 Spyder will be powered by 608 horsepower V8 engine but, with batteries and electric motors helping out, total maximum power output will be about 887 horsepower.
