This BMW M1, one of only 399 street-legal versions of BMW's famous supercar, was originally owned by BMW race car driver Alf Gebardt. BMW developed the M1, a car radically different from other BMWs, in cooperation with Lamborghini. With a 277 horsepower engine, this lightweight model was one of the fastest production sports cars of its time.
