Beyond the fact that it looks like a Salvador Dali painting of a toaster oven -- and the distinctly pointless shag carpet disc on the dashboard -- the most remarkable thing about the Cube is its interior space. It's huge in there.
With its narrow body and short wheelbase, the Cube is a breeze to maneuver and park in tight city streets while still offering gobs of head and legroom.
What's unremarkable is the performance. The Cube is OK puttering through the urban grind but it's less at home on the highway where it becomes wobbly and noisy. But what it lacks in driving joy it more than makes up for in utter weirdness.
