No, this is not a concept vehicle. This small SUV will go into production in about a year and it is quite a stretch for Land Rover.
One of the most surprising features is the engine. Land Rover is usually known for big engines that make big power. The Evoque has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing a still-nothing-to-shrug-at 240 horsepower.
Off-road capability has been softened a bit compared to other Land Rovers but the Evoque will still offer a version of the brand's Terrain Response Control. That allows the driver to easily set steering, transmission and all-wheel-drive systems to cope with various driving conditions such as sand, mud or pavement.
