While this vehicle is still a concept, the Eterne hybrid sedan is slated for production in 2015. It's powered by a 620-horsepower 5.0-liter Toyota V8 engine.
Lotus promises a top speed of 196 miles per hour and a 0-to-60 time of just 4 seconds. The Eterne will be available in rear- and all-wheel-drive. It's expected to cost about $190,000.
Lotus unveiled four other important vehicles at this show, as well. One, the Elise concept, offers a glimpse at what a next-generation Elise sports car might look like. The Elise concept is powered by a 320 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged Toyota 4-cylinder engine.
Another Lotus concept unveiled at the Paris show was the Esprit, a sleek-looking two-seater that, like the Eterne, is powered by a 620-horsepower V8.
