Propane can be combined with butane to form a product called Liquid Propane Gas, which is what's bottled and sold as fuel for grills and camping stoves. It burns with fewer pollutant byproducts than fossil fuels, but doesn't burn as clean as pure natural gas.
Propane fuel is also used in the agricultural industry to heat buildings, protect orchard plants from frost and incinerate livestock waste.
