Located just outside of Nashville, Williamson has commuter routes to major cities and easy access to Nashville International Airport, both of which make it an attractive location for corporations to set up shop. Nissan North American recently brought 1,300 jobs to the area, while Cool Springs Galleria, the local retail center, is still Williamson's largest employer, providing 3,500 jobs.
Williamson also has low tax rates and one of the strongest school districts in the state. -- B.D.
