You won't find Sprint's HTC EVO 4G or Samsung Epic 4G for any less than around $200. With the ability to connect to Sprint's broadband-like 4G network, they're arguably worth the cost.
But if you want a top-of-the-line Android phone, and you don't want or need 4G (or if you're one of the 250 million Americans without access to Sprint's 4G network), the wildly praised Motorola Droid X can be had for $150.
At $569 without a new two-year contract with Verizon, the phone can come at a steep price. But the 4.3-inch screen is tied with the EVO for the biggest on the market, and its components and features rival those of the iPhone 4.
