Nissan Leaf
Base price: $32,780 - $33,720
Mileage: 106 City / 92 Hwy (gallon-equivalent electricity)

No golf cart, the Leaf is a peppy little car that gets the most of its electric motors. Much roomier than you probably think, the Leaf is a practical car for those who don't intend to wander far.

That's going to be the challenge for owners. The EPA estimates that the Nissan Leaf can go 73 miles on a charge. In real-world driving that can vary quite a bit depending on driving style and even the outside temperature.
