Battered by earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods, Toyota is stepping on the gas. Its RAV4, the original crossover, gets an update, as well as the ES, Lexus's high-volume sedan. Scion launched a rear-drive sports car developed with Subaru (pictured), Prius adds a plug-in, and dealers have been drooling over the new Avalon. Overall though, Murphy sees Toyota and other Japanese automakers slowing their rate of product replacement closer to the rest of the industry.
