I'm taking fewer financial risks
I'm taking fewer financial risks
Name: Thomas Coyle and Kathryn Lawson
Age: 65 and 61
Location: Melissa, Texas

The closer I get to retirement, the less risk-tolerant I become.

We've been looking at property in Florida to move to when we retire. I was thinking about maybe getting some part-time job. I'm a multi-tasking, multi-functional engineer, and I have a lot of special mechanic electrical skills that a small outfit could use.

But if the economy turns down again, the chance of getting part-time or contract work will be diminished. We're probably going to watch our nickels and dimes here just in case.-- Thomas Coyle
