Battery life on the 9850 seemed quite good, though I didn't talk much on the phone. Instead, I used it for e-mailing, BlackBerry Messenger, some Web browsing and calendar functions. The phone easily could power through a day of this type of usage, and like most BlackBerry smartphones, the standby time is absolutely ridiculous.
