In theory, Dell's $549 Inspiron Duo Tablet sounds promising, serving up a solid-feeling, fully-functional Windows 7 netbook that, when nudged, swivels and transforms into a 10-inch tablet. Practice is a different story. Lackluster hardware chokes under the demands of Windows 7. An unresponsive touchscreen doesn't help much either.
