Mercedes' redesigned convertible is bigger but lighter thanks to a body that's made almost entirely of aluminum. It will be available with with a retractable glass hard-top that can lighten or darken -- to block or let in the sun -- at the touch of a button.
Even the windshield wipers are high tech. Heated wiper blades are standard (to prevent freezing in winter) and the washer fluid comes out of the blades themselves to prevent "overspray" from entering the cabin when the top is down.
