BodyMedia recently revealed a disposable body-monitoring patch that users can stick to themselves for up to seven days. The patch uses similar technology to that seen in the company's armband BodyMedia FIT system, and allows users to track their activity levels, caloric burn, and steps taken. All of the information can then be wirelessly transmitted to sync with the company's fitness tracking software. Price points are not yet available on this smart bandage, but the company says it should be available to consumers later this year.
