Along with his younger brother William Fung, Victor Fung has worked for more than 20 years to master the global supply chain. The cross-border trade and consumer goods distribution giant they built together has set up offices in more than 70 countries around the world in that time, and pulled in a 2011 net profit of $681.2 million, a 24% increase from the previous year.
As the global supply chain continues to evolve and the U.S. and European consumer economies remain less than buoyant, the Li & Fung Group plans to search for new business growth and will need to make its distribution channels even smoother than they are today.
