Purchase price: $890,000, not including cost of renovations
Value: $3.5 million
For 20 years, this three-story Colonial with 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms in Belmont, Mass. was home to the Romneys and their five sons.
Purchased in 1989 for $890,000, according to public records, Romney lived here when he was elected governor of the state in 2003. After doing extensive renovations on the property, which was built in the 1930's, the couple sold the home in April 2009 for $3.5 million.
It may not be 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., but the presidential candidates reside in some pretty nice digs. Here's a look at where they live -- at least, for now.
