If Facebook's 845 million users are willing to share photos and video clips on the site, would they also watch movies? Hollywood studios like Paramount, Universal, and Warner Brothers, a division of Time Warner (parent company of Fortune) believe they are. Users can rent and review flicks like The Dark Knight and The Big Lebowski on Facebook for the equivalent of 30 Credits (roughly $3). Setting up shop on one of the most trafficked Internet sites in world may be a good idea, but the execution remains lacking. Miramax offers 87 movies to watch, but Warner Brothers only serves up 15. And there's currently no area on Facebook to conveniently peruse movies in one convenient spot.
