The Cadenza is Kia's entry into a suddenly hyper-competitive full-size car market. There are plenty of good ones to choose from -- Toyota Avalon, Hyundai Azera, Chevrolet Impala -- but the Kia Cadenza stands out because it's really engaging to drive. The ride's a touch on the firm side, perhaps, but the upside is crisp steering and real poise through quick turns.
And, like those others, it has a handsomely appointed and very comfortable interior plus one of the best looking exteriors, too. In the end, it just edged out the Impala as my favorite non-luxury big car.
