This is the good part. With that super-tight feel-everything steering, firm suspension, whip-quick transmission and your pants pockets seemingly about to be scraped off by the asphalt, the Alfa Romeo 4C is outrageously fun to drive. Is it the most powerful car around or the fastest? No. But it's still very fast. And there's every sort of sensory stimulation you could want in a sports car.
With a relatively lightweight body and a small engine that looks like it's trying to nuzzle in between the two occupants' butts, the 4C feels just about perfectly balanced. The brakes grab hard and the car darts around curves, accelerating sharply out of them, always feeling absolutely under your control.
